Celebrate Mother’s Day at Isle of Wight Pearl with a variety of special experiences, from enjoying a wonderful family lunch in the Pearl Café to scenic beach walks, handpicking your own pearl, and indulging in island shopping with breathtaking views.
Food and sea views
Our award-winning head chef has created a mouth-watering menu for Mother’s Day on the 15th March. Featuring his famous roasts (including a kid’s portion), best-selling gourmet breakfasts, and a very special Eton Mess with Chantilly cream, coulis, and winter berries.
Two seating times are available at midday and 2pm. Booking is essential, call us on 01983 740352 or email us here to book.
Pick your very own unique pearl
Discover our famous Pick-a-Pearl experience and handpick an oyster from our oyster pool, discovering the hidden gem within. Watch as we grade your pearl, after which you can choose a setting to create a piece of jewellery you can wear again and again. A lovely treat for mum!
Enjoy shopping with a view
There are not many places on the island where you can shop for real pearl jewellery and enjoy trying on rings, bracelets and more all while looking out over the English Channel. Just beautiful.
Go fossil hunting at Chilton Chine
Ideal for the whole family, a walk on Chilton Chine is one of our favourite things to do – and the perfect way to burn off that extra slice of cake! The sand features natural green and red clay as well as many ancient, unusual shells and fossils from the prehistoric era!
Enjoy a local dog walk
If you are visiting us with your furry friend, enjoy a relaxing dog walk on Compton Beach, a two-mile stretch of golden sand, a few minutes on the coastal path from Isle of Wight Pearl. Surrounded by rugged sandstone cliffs, it is a beautiful all-weather beach to explore.
Visit The Needles
A short drive from us along The Military Road, one of Europe’s most famous roads to drive down, will take you towards the iconic Needles. Here you will find a whole host of activities and amazing views for everyone to enjoy. Why not stop off at our Pearl Café before or after your trip for a homemade lunch or cream tea along with a free drink for mum?
