The Pearl Café is the perfect spot to enjoy great quality local island delicacies for breakfast or lunch with breathtaking views of the English Channel. The ideal place to relax and unwind on a journey around the island, with cliff top walks and historical monuments nearby – muddy boots and well-behaved, supervised dogs are welcome.

Pick-a-Pearl
Discover the magic of Pick-A-Pearl. Choose your own Akoya oyster, watch your pearl being revealed and learn what makes it unique as we grade it together. You can choose the perfect setting for your new pearl (extra) and watch as we expertly set it for you while you wait.
You can also pre-book your experience before you arrive – it’s optional, but a great way to beat the queues and secure your preferred time.

Watch us open your oyster to reveal your beautiful pearl.
3. Grade your pearl
We will then grade your pearl and you can discover what makes it so unique.
4. Choose a setting
We’ll create a pendant, charm, ring or earrings for you to treasure forever.
We have a first class, in-house design team, who create captivating pieces of jewellery and are available for commissions, repairs and restringing. Our talented designers, Colette and Roz are on hand to offer their expertise.

There are many breath-taking views on the Isle of Wight, but Chilton Chine is our favourite; a stunning natural beach not far from us on the Military Road. The sand features natural clay as well as ancient shells and fossils from the prehistoric era.
